Privacy
Palique is a small Spanish course run by one person. It keeps as little about you as it can, and nobody reads what you write or say.
If you join the waitlist
We store your email address, the time you signed up, and which page you signed up from. That's all: no IP address, no device or browser details, no tracking. We use your email for one thing: sending you an invite link when there's a place. We never send marketing, and we never share or sell it.
If you've been invited
Your account holds:
- your name as it was on your invite, and your progress through the lessons;
- your answers, kept so the app can show you your own mistakes to practise;
- your review cards and when each one is next due;
- your before and after test results;
- usage: minutes spoken and what that cost, so nobody can run up a bill.
Nobody reads your answers. There is no admin screen for them. The owner's view shows minutes and dollars per account, never what anyone said or wrote.
Where it's kept
On Cloudflare: the app runs on Cloudflare Workers and the data lives in a Cloudflare D1 database.
Voice, once it's switched on
Speaking practice isn't live yet. When it is, the audio and text of those exercises will be processed by Deepgram (turning your speech into text), OpenAI (the conversation partner in mini chats and section tests) and ElevenLabs (the recorded Spanish voices). They process it to answer you; Palique doesn't keep your recordings.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my data. It deletes your account and everything above, straight away, for good.
To come off the waitlist, email hello@palique.app from the address you signed up with, and we'll remove it.
